Today morning an accident happened in the station where I sleep every night. I went out the corridor that the station master indicated to me to sleep 4 months ago when I saw someone lying on the floor crying for help.
I stopped. According to him, he suffers from low blood sugar. He asked a coke. The cleaner bought him one. He should take a blood test. I have no needle to make him one. Otherwise, I would have made him one.
I am worried. A low blood sugar that leads to a loss of consciousness is a severe case and can be diabetes or another pancreatic disease. I coudn't even write him a certificate for the day. I haven't certificate blank documents.
I regret I hadn't told him to go to the russian ambassy in Charleroi. There is another doctor there who can make blood analysis right there. But the cleaner was coming back with the coke and the patient went back to his work.
It was early in the morning, about 6 a clock, except the cleaner there was no other station staff. I don't know the rules in the station. Do they have an official doctor ?
I am a doctor and surgeon. I recently reaffirmed to the Belgian authorities they can count on me in a possible future conflict as they asked but I am here without any medical equipment.
Worse than that, I am refused a new phone number when I should have a red line. So this morming, I couldn't even call an ambulance.
